Well we had a really great weekend filled with family, friends, and football again. We had intentions of going to the harvest festival in Stillwater Saturday afternoon but had to cancel our plans due the it raining. So for the most part it was a low key weekend.
I was home all day with the boys. Joe and Liam had picked me some apples earlier in the week so at nap time I made some apple crisp. It turned out really good! Plus it has apples and oats so it is healthy right?!? haha!
My little snuggle bug Owen is learning he really likes his wubba-nub. He is holding onto that monkey so tight. How adorable!
Liam was begging to spend some time outside. It was a little chilly out but warm enough to go outside for a little while. Joe and Liam stayed out much longer than Owen and I did.
We spent the rest of the evening hanging out and having a movie night (who am I kidding, every night is movie night at our house lol).
Saturday morning snuggles are always great.
Joe took Liam to Farm and Home to get some time out of the house. When they got home our friend Jordan came over with her nephews to meet Owen. Liam had fun playing with the boys and showing them his toys.
Uncle Joel stopped by to see the boys and talk to Joe about hanging a deer stand. We all had some apple crisp and hung out for a little while.
After nap time the Badgers played. We all relaxed and watch the Badgers kick butt. Fun to spend time with all my boys.
My mom stopped by to watch a little of the Badger game with us. She then headed home and we ate dinner.
After dinner we played, relaxed and headed to bed. I went to bed early because I was tired and also because I had to get up early the next morning.
Joe went out hunting in the morning so it was just me and the boys. Liam woke up in quite the mood but settled down eventually. It was interesting going about the morning with the two boys on my own but we managed and no one got hurt so thats a win!
Uncle Joel stopped in when Joe got home from hunting.
We went out to Not Justa Cafe for breakfast. They have the best and biggest pancakes. So good!
Joe’s parents stopped by for a quick visit after breakfast. They got Liam a cute new Badger hat and it is adorable!
Then it was home to watch the Packer vs Vikings game. Sadly Aaron Rodgers got injured and the Packer lost but we still love them!
After the game we went to my parent’s house for tacos. My mom also made a delicious spaghetti squash dish. It was a really great meal.
My grandparents soaked up some Owen snuggles and so did cousin Judah. It was a fun evening with family.
Then it was home to start bedtime routine.
Overall it was a really great weekend. I hope you have a great week and happy Monday! The weather is supposed to be so nice this week so we are looking forward to some time outside!
