I can’t even believe the day is here. One year ago on this day my baby boy entered the world and everything changed. It is truly amazing how much he has grown over this past year but it is also amazing how Joe and I have grown as husband and wife and now as parents. We are learning so much as Liam grows but one thing is for sure, this boy has stolen our hearts and brought us more joy than we knew was possible. (Photo credit: Signe Shores Photography)
Liam is in a great sleep routine. He goes to bed around 7-7:30 and then gets up usually around 6. Sometimes he gets up a little earlier or a little later but generally it’s around 6.
He is getting on a more routine nap schedule too. Some days he still takes 2 naps but most days he goes down around 11:30-12 and will sleep for about 2-3 hours. He is then up until bed time.
Liam still eats pretty much everything! We are continuing to give Liam new things to try and he is loving it. It is so nice to be able to feed him from some of the food we eat now too. It makes feeding him so much easier.
Liam still speed crawls everywhere. It is just crazy how quickly he moves. He continues to bring himself to standing and using furniture and toys to move. He is also standing on his own for longer period of times. He can go from sitting to standing without using furniture or toys to assist him. He has taken a few steps here and there but just isn’t ready to commit to walking yet. Soon though!
Liam still has just the 4 teeth. Two on the top and two on the bottom. He has been drooling a lot lately so we are thinking another is on the way but nothing we can see yet.
Liam loves being outside all the time. He constantly wants to be outside with his dad. He also loves using toys or other objects to walk. He recently started giving high fives and gets the biggest smile when he does it. He is still pointing at everything. He has an interest in animals and animal noises. Liam loves his new cozy coupe he got for his birthday too.
Liam says “mama” and “dad” very clearly. He also says “all done” and “thank you.” He says “no no no” when he sees something we tell him he can’t touch. He makes bear noises for most animals but also makes a cow noise.
